How many of you remember the bus in Texas with the nursing home patients that caught on fire heading to Dallas? The one where a prosecutor decided to charge the bus driver who happened to be an illegal immigrant, for the deaths of the passengers.
Everyone needs to ask why the employee's of Sunrise Senior Living, weren't charged in any crimes for not rendering help to their patients? One thing you won't see on the news is that some of the employees high tailed it off the bus and never looked back!
Brighton Gardens of Bellaire home, owned by McLean, Virginia-based Sunrise Senior Living.
"Sunrise has been devastated by this tragedy," Sunrise chief executive Paul Klaassen said. "Our hearts go out to the families and friends of the residents involved in this unfortunate incident."
You're not that devastated, your already lining up the relatives to pay their $250,000 for a loss of a love one.
Sunrise Senior Living pays very big bucks to some very important people in Austin and Washington. So don't expect to see too much bad publicity or real investigation into Sunrise.
