An educated populace is necessary in order for a democratic society to function democratically.
An educated populace is a threat to a totalitarian structure.
Do you ever wonder why Bush wants to destroy public education with his No Child Left In Tact fiasco? Could it be he's afraid of teaching our kids to think?

WELL I AM AFRAID ITS TO LATE , WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY RIGHT IS RIGHT AND WRONG IS WRONG AND NO MATTER WHAT AGE WE ALL KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG  JUST LIKE MOTHER NATURE , YOU DONT MESS WITH MOTHER NATURE AND I BELIEVE IT'S TOO LATE SCHOOLS IN INDIANA I KNOW , DONT TEACH THE KIDS THE CONSTITUTION AND IF YOU DONT KNOW YOUR CONSTITUTION , GET TO KNOW YOUR BEST FRIEND, AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES  |
