05/20/2006 - A juror in a Kentucky criminal trial is now in jail for sending an e-mail to a defense lawyer, criticizing the state's case.
The case involves felony Medicaid fraud charges against a Paducah oral surgeon.
The juror's charges will be removed from court records, and he'll be released from jail in McCracken County if he makes an appropriate apology and reimburses the state $562.50, the cost of paying jurors for the three days.
