04/15/2006 - KALISPELL A former Chouteau County sheriff's deputy was given a ten-year suspended sentence for felony criminal mischief.
Richard Rossmiller was accused of breaking into a former girlfriend's house in Kalispell and sabatoging her wiring, as well as damaging her car.
He was given six-month suspended sentences for theft and partner assault.
Rossmiller has already served six months in jail.
He was arrested last summer, shortly before starting a job with the Flathead County sheriff's office. He was accused of stealing a hot tub and fencing, and then used his position to cover up the crimes. He was given an eight-year suspended sentence for those crimes.
