LAKE CHARLES, La. A Calcasieu Parish sheriff's deputy has been arrested in connection with a deadly drunk driving accident. A mangled mess of metal is what's left of the 2002 Dodge Dakota that a Deputy Joshua Foch was driving when it ran off of Interstate 210 around 1:20 this morning. Foch, who is 20-years-old, was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center -- the same place where he works as a corrections officer. Lake Charles police arrested Foch for underage-driving-while-under-the-influence and two counts of first-degree vehicular negligence. Sergeant Mark Kraus says results are pending from a blood-alcohol test given to Foch. Foch's vehicle flipped several times down an interstate embankment. Two people in the back seat were ejected. One of them, 23-year-old Jerica Devillier, was penned under the S-U-V and died about 12 hours later after she was taken off life support. Two others in the car are patrol deputies with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office. Twenty-seven-year-old Jarred Malone was one of the ejected passengers. He remains in Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Twenty-nine-year-old Gregory Nall was treated and released. At least one charge Foch is facing will be upgraded to vehicular homicide because of the death of his passenger. www.katc.com/global/story.asp?s=5806885
