Dec 19 2006 An officer in the Burleigh County Sheriff's Department has been arrested. Captain Lisa Wicks was cited Sunday morning in Mandan for Driving Under the Influence. The police report indicates she was pulled over for speeding in the 300 block of 6th Avenue Southeast about 1-15 Sunday morning. There were three other people in the car. Mandan police Chief Dennis Rohr says Wicks failed a number of field sobriety tests. Burleigh County Sheriff Steve Berg says Captain Wicks has been placed on paid administrative leave until he can get all of the information on the incident. Berg says he hasn't received a copy of the police report yet. He says possible action against Captain Wicks ranges from a letter of caution to being dismissed from the department. Sheriff Berg says Captain Wicks works in the detention center. She has been with the department for about 15 years. Berg says she is a fine officer and has done a good job and is cooperating with the investigation. www.kxnet.com/getARticle.asp?ArticleId=78082
