11.17.2006 - Six months probation for a Smyrna policeman who persuaded a Clayton police officer to release a friend who was under arrest for drunken-driving. Under the “probation before judgment'' deal, a conviction for official misconduct won't appear on Brian Moore's record if he completes six months of probation successfully. Police are not saying what Moore’s internal discipline was, however he was a patrol sergeant before the incident – he is upon his return to work, he is now a patrol officer. www.wgmd.com/newspost/fullnews.php?id=2019
