11.10.2006 - OMAHA, Neb. -- A Nebraska deputy has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. Richardson County Sheriff's Deputy Todd Landis was arrested Wednesday in Falls City, according to local officials. Falls City police said that someone called to report that Landis was drunk and driving a motorcycle. Police pulled Landis over on a motorcycle at 1700 Fulton St. in Falls City at about 7 p.m. He was cited for DUI and refusal to commit to a chemical test. Landis is the sheriff's deputy who shot and killed a woman during a drug sting in Richardson County in August. Landis shot Marx outside a retirement home after getting a tip that a resident at the home was going to sell her prescription painkillers. Landis told authorities that his gun went off accidentally. The Richardson County Attorney's Office said a special prosecutor will be assigned to handle the Landis case. www.ketv.com/news/10282923/detail.html
