Its true in Lewis County Washington several law officers are in trouble for using department laptops for sex chat. They talked with department head of computer/information technology of lewis county. She was even sending her naked pictures for them to view on the laptops. Well even the Chief of Napavine, Shelby Clements, used poor judgment and involved himself with several sexual conversations with the female department head while on duty. You can get a copy of the sex chat from the prosecutors office which has been made public record now. also see the news story at www.king5.com/localnews/stories/NW_092706WABnapavineJK.228e5a7a.html also see www.napavine.org and his story at www.morebadcopnews.com this is not the first time clements has been in trouble, or had complaints. As a matter of fact this website has been contacted in the past for his abuse of power. check it out its good news.

Feel free to post the actual article itself, just use the following format. You can add a comment in the actual article or after the article. Napavine police chief implicated in sex talk scandal September 27, 2006 By PAUL AKER / KING 5 News NAPAVINE, Wash. – A widening scandal over sex talk between public employees using county communications equipment now appears to include the Napavine Police Chief. A Lewis County information technology worker was put on leave in August for allegedly using County equipment to talk dirty with police from at least three different agencies. Tapes recently released by the Lewis County Prosecutor suggest the Napavine Police Chief Shelby Clements was involved in one such explicit talk with the same IT worker while attempting to free a baby locked in an SUV. Clements admits he and others were involved in numerous "off-color" conversations, but he says he doesn't remember the one when a child was locked in an SUV. Transcripts of text messages provided by Lewis County Prosecutor Jeremy Randolph, however, suggest otherwise. In the transcripts, the chief says to the IT worker, "I am waiting on a locksmith. I have 10-month-old child locked inside a vehicle." A little bit later the chief asks, "so are you nakie?" to which the IT worker says "top on, no lower" The conversation gets even more graphic but ends when the chief announces the baby is out and the IT worker signs off, "xoxo baby" Clements has neither admitted nor denied that the transcripts are accurate. "I am not disagreeing, but I can't remember the incident," he said. When asked whether the situation impairs his ability to lead Clements answered: "[It's] something the mayor and I are discussing now. No excuse for it. We need to correct the situation and move forward ... if it did happen." The Chief is currently on a disability leave because of a hurt knee. Randolph has declined to press any charges in the case because he said it could hinder the administrative investigations and several police departments. www.king5.com/localnews/stories/NW_092706WABnapavineJK.228e5a7a.html
