Has anyone heard of a specific agency that can get envolved with child support issues when the father of four is a cop, has for nearly a year not paid the court ordered support obligation, has plead not guilty to contempt of court for NOT paying the obligation, there is a wage assignment (garnishment) in affect for at least nine months, and somehow the city and or payroll department is assisting him in not paying his obligation. It is not a financial hardship for him to pay, he makes a gross of nearly 10K a month, but because he is a control freak (as are the people assisting him) he will only remit 1090.00 every two weeks for his soon to be ex-wife of 16 years and their four children. All court filings have been done, support services has been brought in, financial assistance has been applied for and denied because the amount he sends put her $2.00 over the limit to qualify. Does Internal Affairs get envolved with these social/family issues or do they only care to deal with fraud/drug/murder??

Give them a call, they are the ones representing the child.
