06.22.2006 - For the second day in a row, a Marion County Sheriff's deputy has been stripped of his badge.
The latest officer was fired over a personal Web site posting, WESH 2 News reported.
Brian Quinn, 26, was only on the job since last December, which made him a probationary employee.
According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, his profile on MySpace.com included disturbing details such as his job description and a picture of him in his uniform. On his Web page, Quinn talked about his favorite things, including female breasts, swimming naked and drinking heavily and often.
His profile was discoverd by the sheriff's Youth Internet Crimes Unit.
Quinn is the third deputy fired in two days for inappropriate behavior by a Marion County sheriff's deputy.
Sheriff Ed Dean said he's had it with this type of behavior in his office.
"His statement about putting people in jail, his statement of swimming without his clothes on, things like that are totally inappropriate," Dean said. "Even if they were in jest, even if he didn't even mean it, it still is not representative of the sheriff's office."
As a probationary employee, Quinn can be terminated with or without cause.
He was fired after a unanimous no confidence vote by the sheriff's senior staff.
