01.04.2006 - In a plea agreement with prosecutors, Barbara A. Keck, 29, of 4821 Vista Park Drive, City of Delafield, entered a guilty plea Dec. 21 to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. Judge Kathryn Foster fined Keck $224. Keck was initially charged with impersonating a police officer, a misdemeanor. According to the criminal complaint: On April 30, Keck was at Coconut Joe's Beach Club, N50 W35046 Wisconsin Ave., when a fight broke out between two patrons and Keck struck one of the patrons in the face three or four times before she was pulled off. A bouncer was taking Keck away when she started swinging at him and hitting him, the complaint said. At one point, Keck flashed a badge and said she was a police officer. Keck told a Town of Oconomowoc officer that she did show a badge and that she was at one time an undercover narcotics officer for the Washington County Sheriff's Department. Police checked with the department and were informed the department employed Keck for less than a year and she left the department more than a year ago, the complaint said. The Sheriff's Department did not issue the badge, but most likely it was something she purchased while employed by the department, according to the complaint. www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?BRD=1402&dept_id=173494&newsid=17666205&PAG=461&rfi=9
