Video Link at bottom July 21, 2006 - New York - A five-second video and a series of photographs showing President George Bush rubbing the back of German Chancellor Angela Merkel's neck and shoulders during a break in the recently-concluded G8 summit in Russia, is becoming one of the most popular clips since YouTube.com posted it on the Web. In the video, Bush was seen giving a surprised Merkel a quick massage on her neck and shoulders. The chancellor immediately hunches her shoulders, throws her arms up and grimaces. Yahoo News said since the video was posted, it has become one of the most popular clips and has drawn countless remarks especially on the etiquette of the world leader. Analysts said the video, plus Bush's use of an expletive during his conversation with British Prime Minister Tony Blair in the G8 summit have underscored the power of the Internet to embarrass even powerful figures. Larry Sabato, professor of politics at the University of Virginia said the public figures have to more careful these days. He said, "If they're not doing something that's embarrassing, they have nothing to worry about. A president ought to know enough not use an expletive in a fairly open meeting and almost any male alive today knows that you don't offer uninvited massages to any female, much less the chancellor of Germany." www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7004292743Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dfrHT8o-0A
