10.12.2006 - BASSETT, Neb. - A rookie sheriff's deputy has been arrested in connection with a threat that forced a widespread lockdown of some schools in Nebraska. The Holt County sheriff says people have to be responsible for their actions "whether you are a cop, a gas station attendant or anyone." Schools in three rural counties covering some five-thousand square miles were locked down this week after a local newspaper got a call from a man who said there would be a shooting at one of the schools. It's unclear what lead to the arrest of Officer Ivan Young. www.ktre.com/Global/story.asp?S=5508468&nav=2FH5
