08.08.2006 - MASON - A seven-year Mason police officer was indicted Monday by a Warren County grand jury on charges of burglary and assault in an alleged domestic dispute with a female colleague. Officer Paul Collins, 32, of Mason, was placed on unpaid leave after the June incident involving fellow officer Melissa Campbell. Hamilton Township police charged Collins on June 26 after they said he broke down the door of a residence on Appaloosa Circle and assaulted Campbell, who was staying with a friend. Prosecutors said Collins and Campbell had been dating. news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060808/NEWS01/608080351/1056
