04/11/2006 - A former Portsmouth Police Officer is charged with grand larceny.
Antonio M. Jackson turned himself in to Portsmouth Police Monday after a warrant was obtained for his arrest.
Jackson had responded to a call in the 4000 block of Timberland Drive on May 1, 2005. He was a field evidence technician at the time and failed to submit property in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
He was questioned about the missing property, and resigned shortly afterwards.
Jackson was released on bond.
