03/08/2006 - Southington- A Southington police officer is under arrest for selling stolen computers.
He allegedly sold them to co-workers in the police department.
Officer Justin Levy is charged with four counts of larceny. A friend of the officer allegedly stole 12 laptops and some memory cards from Sysco, the food service company in Rocky Hill.
Police say Officer Levy sold two of them to police department employees.
23-year-old Michael Gaffney allegedly stole the laptops while working for Sysco.
Rocky Hill police put the serial numbers of the stolen computers on a crime database.
Two employees at the Southington PD found the computers they just bought were on the list.
