September 24, 2006 - CHANDLER, Ariz. - A Chandler police officer is off the force after he pulled over a woman and asked her out on a date. Officer Nathanial Dixon was notified August 22nd that he would be fired after a woman called the Professional Standards Section of the Chandler police department. A predismissal notice says the woman told investigators she was pulled over by a marked patrol car on July 8th and asked out on a date. Officials reviewed the complaint and decided the traffic stop was conducted for "no lawful purpose" with the sole intention to quote: "ask this woman out on a date." Dixon says he's appealing his dismissal. kvoa.com/Global/story.asp?S=5437086&nav=HMO6
