August 30, 2006 - LOS ANGELES -- A suspended Alhambra police officer was charged Wednesday with 10 criminal counts for allegedly molesting 2 teenage boys, including one who was an Explorer with the Baldwin Park Police Department. Michael James Fisher, 42, is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Fisher, who was arrested Aug. 14, is free on $100,000 bond. According to the District Attorney's Office, Fisher is charged with molesting one of the victims over an eight-month period in 2003. The second victim was molested in 2005 and this year, prosecutors said. Fisher is charged with three counts of lewd act with a child aged 14 and 15, four counts of oral copulation of a person under age 18 and three counts of sodomy of a person under age 18. If convicted of all charges, Fisher faces a maximum prison term of nine years. www.nbc4.tv/news/9766113/detail.html
