11.15.2006 - A rookie deputy who was arrested on Thursday and charged with tampering with a witness was fired from his job at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office today. Officer Anthony Pilallis, 32, of Boynton Beach, was still on probationary status and so he was fired just more than three months after he was hired, said sheriff's spokesman Paul Miller. Pilallis is accused of trying to get an alleged sexual assault victim to stop cooperating in the case against her attacker. Pilallis had no official involvement in the case as a deputy. www.palmbeachpost.com/localnews/content/local_news/epaper/2006/11/13/1113pilallis.html
