FORT WORTH, TEXAS - A federal judge in Fort Worth Monday sentenced a now-former lawman to nearly five years in prison in a child porn case.
Forty-one-year-old Officer David Neal Looney of Mansfield must serve 57 months behind bars.
Records show the former Mansfield police officer earlier this year pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography.
Investigators found about 110 images of child porn on a computer Looney had at his home.
Authorities believe the case goes back to 2003, when Looney was still a Mansfield officer.
He resigned in 2005.
Looney must surrender on November 20th.
