CAPE CORAL, FLORIDA - Deputies arrested a corrections officer Thursday for dealing marijuana near a school.
Sabrina Browlee, 24, was targeted by the sheriff’s narcotics unit.
An informant helped deputies with the sting. The informant set up the drug transaction in the parking lot of a bar on Santa Barbara Boulevard around 8 p.m.
Authorities say Brownlee and another woman, 25-year-old Brandy Jean Collins, arrived and sold marijuana to the informant, who was traveling with an undercover deputy.
Deputies tailing the duo arrested them after a field test confirmed the substance they sold to the informant was marijuana.
Both are charged with dealing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, because the bar is near Cape Coral High School, and marijuana possession.
Officials say Brownlee works at the Charlotte County Correctional Institution.
