SONOMA, Calif. A Sonoma man is dead after police tried to subdue him with a Taser stun gun.
Michael Tolosko died after a scuffle with police early yesterday morning at a home he shares with his mother.
Authorities say Tolosko attacked officers when they responded to a 9-1-1 call from his mother.
During the struggle between four officers and Tolosko, officers zapped him with a Taser stun gun.
Police say after he was finally subdued, the 31-year-old Tolosko stopped breathing.
He was taken to Sonoma Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say Tolosko has a history of contacts with law enforcement officers and has a history of mental health issues.
