04/20/2006 - The boy, who isn't being named because he's a juvenile, was given a ticket accusing him of disorderly conduct, Geiszler said.
The boy, who had been working at the drive-through window at McDonald's when the incident occurred, told police that he put his finger through the food because he doesn't like police officers, Geiszler said.
A manager at the McDonald's restaurant, W189-S7851 Racine Ave., declined to comment Tuesday.
A Muskego officer went through the drive-through the evening of April 12 to order a McChicken sandwich and medium french fries for an emergency dispatcher, Geiszler said. Dispatchers cannot leave the station during work shifts, and officers occasionally pick up dinner for them, he said.
Not suspecting that anything had happened to the food, the officer brought it to the station and handed the bag to the dispatcher. She discovered a hole that went through the paper wrapped around the sandwich and through the sandwich, Geiszler said.
The officer who had brought the food, along with a second officer, went back to McDonald's to speak to a manager, Geiszler said. The manager then brought in the employee who had handed the officer the bag of food. The boy at first said he didn't remember a police squad car using the drive-through.
After more questioning, the boy admitted to putting his finger through the sandwich because he had gotten tickets for underage drinking and didn't like police officers, Geiszler said.
The boy apparently also bragged to another employee, saying he had just "messed with a cop's food," Geiszler said.
The boy was fired from his job that night, Geiszler said.

A finger ran through his food, that's it? He's pretty lucky then.
I read of a story of a kid putting Meth in a cops burger. Now for what I do know what happens and what goes inside a cops food is the following:
Spit
Dirt
Crushed Roaches and bugs
Weed
I personally am not into such behavior being done to anyone, specially on their food. Just a word of caution to all you officers that do go to fast food joints, this does happen a lot more than you suspect. Careful who you upset, because you really never know who you have pissed off! ;D

Taco Bell worker charged with felony after spitting into drink
04/22/2006 - WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A Stafford County fast food employee is facing felony charges after a man told police she spat in his drink. Eighteen-year-old Shaleesheya Ford is charged with adulteration of food, obstruction of justice and making a false report. She faces up to 10 years in prison. It happened April 14th at a Taco Bell along Garrisonville Road and it all started when a customer couldn't get some tea. According to Stafford General District Court records, the 35-year-old victim - who did not want to give his name - purchased food at the drive-through window but didn't get the iced tea he ordered. He says he complained and later got the drink. But when he opened it up he saw "a strange substance" floating in the cup. Investigators later linked the incident to the woman. She faces arraignment Tuesday.

Again putting something into food or drinks, is wrong! But as I stated before it happens "all the time!" More than you would care for me to tell you of all the incident's that I know of personally.
As far as making "false report," NEVER-EVER talk to a police officer, for any reason! Give no statement, say nothing! It's your right, not to incriminate yourself! This goes for also, "and I hate to say this," because I don't like people that drink and drive, but if your pulled over and "asked" to take a field sobriety test or breath/blood test, you have the right to say NO and refuse! Now mind you, this is your "constitutional right," but refusing could lead to the state taking away your license.

I know this is just a little off the subject, but... I was just wondering if the government and I'm sure they have thought of this but dare not tell the public for the fear it might cause or the money fast food business's would lose. Not to mention the taxes the government gets from fast food establishments, would be gone.
You always hear how "terrorist" might contaminate our "water supply" or something like that. I was wondering if there is a bacteria or germs or whatever, that the terrorist could use to contaminate food or drinks at fast food restaurants?
It wouldn't have to be a lot of restaurants that it happened at. Just one restaurant in a big city, probably serv's 1000-3000 people a day. So if you have terrorist working in lets say, 4-5 restaurants in a large city, times 10 more large cities across the U.S., then it might could be done? There could be an incubation period or maybe even spread to others that come in contact with the people? It could take days maybe before the effect started on the people and then days for it to be traced back to the source?
You say how stupid? Yeah and I say look at our government and how they protected us on 9/11. They let terrorist board and take over planes and your saying that terrorist couldn't get jobs at a low paying fast food restaurant?
I don't know my germ warfare or bacteria's, etc. Don't know if such a thing could be done, but everything is possible, I'm sure. Maybe I'll continue writing this and make it a movie script?
Just something to think about.

I will confirm that Officers of the Law often recieve tainted food. It happens most likely on a daily basis. I worked at a McDonalds. I never took part in, but I have been told stories of spit, dirt, undercooked food, overcharging, overcooked food, etc... Anything we can to to make their days go a little better. Haha

10/09/2006 - Three fast-food restaurant workers were taken into custody Sunday evening after two police officers discovered that the hamburgers they had ordered had been sprinkled with marijuana.
The Isleta Police Department officers had eaten about half of their burgers from a Burger King restaurant in Los Lunas before realizing that something was wrong. Opening the burgers, they discovered marijuana sprinkled on top of the meat.
“One of the officers, when he was eating his hamburger, he said, ‘This thing tastes like it has marijuana in it,’” said Lieutenant Joseph Sanchez of the Los Lunas Police Department. “And that’s when he opened it up to see what was inside."
The officers used a field test kit, which confirmed that the green, leafy substance was pot.
Officials say that the officers began acting odd after ingesting the marijuana and their sergeant sent them to a hospital for a medical evaluation.
The three Burger King employees were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and aggravated battery on an officer, which is a felony. They’ve been identified as 19-year-old Justin Armijo, 21-year-old Robert Nuckols and their manager, 33-year-old Joseph Ledesma.

01.10.2007 - (Orangeburg) Jan. 11, 2007 - News 10 has learned several Orangeburg County sheriff's deputies became ill Wednesday night after dining together at an IHOP restaurant. They went to the IHOP on North Road in Orangeburg. Six sheriff's officers were grabbing a bite to eat after a late-night training session. Four ordered coffee. And in a matter of minutes, all four were feeling sick. "One got pale," says Sheriff Larry Williams. "Skin was very clammy. Two were nauseated. One, in fact, one of my officers this morning, I talked with him, he felt like he was a little faint." The officers ended up in the emergency room at Orangeburg Regional Medical Center, where they were treated and released. Now, all four remain off the job. Two of them are still feeling the effects of whatever it was that hit them. The sheriff's department returned to the IHOP, picked up a sample of the coffee and the coffee pot, and has turned it over to the State Department of Health and Environmental Control. DHEC has found no indication that anyone else got sick. DHEC spokesperson Thom Berry says, "We called Poison Control Center. We talked with the hospital. We've done some spot checks. We haven't found anyone else who is reporting similar-type symptoms after eating at this restaurant last night." The sheriff says there were other customers in the IHOP. "I don't want to appear that I'm making allegations against the restaurant. I don't know, but my intel has, my information has that there were other people in the restaurant and my officers were the only ones that became sick." Still, there's no sign the deputies were victims of foul play or that the restaurant poses any public health risk. An IHOP corporate spokesman tells News 10 the company is aware of the situation and is working with DHEC to find out what, if anything, got into the cops' cups. www.wistv.com/Global/story.asp?S=5925478
