Anthony Stockelman was charged with the murder of Katie Collman after Jackson County, Indiana prosecutor Stephen Pierson claimed that DNA evidence linked Stockelman to the crime. Seven months after Stockelman's arrest, an article in the local paper appeared with Pierson attempting to justify why he has not yet turned over the evidence to the defense attorney: www.tribtown.com/main.asp?Search=1&ArticleID=16259&SectionID=1&SubSectionID=186&S=1The physical DNA was never presented at Stockelman's plea hearing, only paper documents claiming that this DNA found at the crime scence matched Stockelman's DNA.
