The female deputy while performing CPR: "Come on, buddy."
To this day the cause of death is in dispute. The nursing staff and deputies did everything they could. While tradgic that a life was lost, this could have been easily avoided: Don't resist.

:-/yes of course this could have been avoided. Bu you have got to understand that Police hold power in there hands that many don't know. Yes this Black man could have just relaxed. But it was possible that he COULD have been under the influence (so it was RUMORED). But if you listen very closely to the video tape...the first thing the man says to the officers WHILE tazing his ass was..."PLEASE DON'T KILL ME..." he repeats that a couple of times.....now I don't know if any of you ever been in a situation where you ever been scared literally to death. But The police officers AS the aggressors, WITH the power to have handled that situation in many ways such as strapped his ass down somewhwere like the way they had him before they noticed he was dead/dying...this man was scared to death. Listen to what he was saying. Them tasing his ass with damn near 50,000+ volt (the strongest taser voltage out there is 957,000v...keep in mind that not too many people have strong bodies especially hearts to with stand this).....now if you watch closely of the video. All the officer's were aware that this man could possibly be dead or dying...notice how they all get quiet, They all become panicy. Its obvious they know something is wrong and it just so happens that a camera (which most officers hate when on duty) is catching all of this so what better way than to play it off as if he passed the fuck out. Notice how they're trying to check for his pulse on his wrist while they were all around him...backs off and an on site doctor comes to check him out, puts his fingers allong his artery on the left side of his neck...he doesn't answers confidently...taps his neck in a gesture to say "he's good to go, lay him down..."...you can look at the young guys face that something isn't write......this guy was not resisting arrest...we was scared to death, getting hit by more than one taser plus scared to death of course you're going to jump like crazy that shit fuckin' hurts.....ALL OF THOSE MEN ARE STRONG...they could have restraint him, tied him down, and left him in a room till he was calm...hands behind the back, handcuff his wrist and his ankles where there is only enough room to step 4 to five inches in front of one foot...if you think otherwise you have no heart.....I sat here and cried my heart out....and that mans death went unjust....I'm a 25 year old kid who lives in the projects of dc...do I trust the police, no. If Police in the hood ever wondered why black and latin men hate and fear the police because of the reputation the police have.....Officers who really serve and protect and know how to gain the trust of people even folks in the hood (yet know when to get in that ass when need be) I tip my hat to you...
